Certificate Programs

Certificate of Post Graduate Study

Add a global perspective to your graduate business degree.

You've already earned your MBA or MIM (Masters in International Management) from an accredited institution. Now add the Thunderbird experience to your educational tool kit. Earn international certification, so you're ready to take on the world.

Thunderbird offers you a truly global perspective on trade in a 12-credit, 2-year program. (Three credit hours may be used for a Thunderbird Winterim study abroad.) Choose Finance, Marketing or International Development as your Thunderbird Focus Area. But keep in mind that prerequisite courses for International Development (like International Political Economy, Regional Business Environment, Cross-Cultural Communications, and Global Negotiations) will probably lengthen your Certificate Program.

Non-U.S. students must complete the program in the time allowed by your visa — usually one trimester. Therefore, plan to work with an Academic Advisor and the Office of Programs for Foreign Students and Scholars (PFSS) to make sure all necessary classes are offered in the time frame you need.
